How Does the Automatic Pool Cover Work?
Made from a flexible vinyl material, your pool cover will float on top of the water. To retract the cover, the electric motor rolls up the cover around the drum and retracts it into the housing box, which is located at the deep end of the pool.
The cover is extended using hidden special ropes carried inside the pool coping. Once extended, the cover is then attached along the sides of the pool in a special track system, creating a barrier impenetrable by children or animals.
The cover only takes 30 seconds to extend or contract, and a clutch prevents damage to the mechanism or injury to anyone who happens to be in the pool when the cover is closing.
