Pool Covers You Can Walk On!

Safe for Adults, Kids, and Pets

There are so many reasons to get a pool safety cover in Winnipeg, but the big one is in the name. These trampoline-style covers ensure that kids, pets, neighbours and other life forms can’t just run or fall into your pool. In fact, pool safety covers are designed for people to walk on. While they are traditionally used for winterizing a pool, they can also be used if you will be away for a couple of weeks, or for any other situation where you want to restrict pool access for safety reasons. Once our installers have laid down the hardware, they are super easy to remove and put back on. And they look good while doing it - they come in your choice of five colours.

Take Your Spring Pool Opening From “Oh No Please Don’t Make Me Do It” to “Woo Hoo! That Was Easy!”

Opening your pool for the season usually means cleaning out lots of leaves and other debris from your pool. While you’ll still need to do all the usual pool opening tasks, your pool safety cover keeps the majority of debris out of your pool, making your Spring opening a snap. All you have to do is remove your cover, skim the pool of any minor debris, make sure your equipment is in good operating order, get your pool water ready, unfold those loungers, and get ice for your drinks.

Built Tougher Than Your Brother-In-Law’s Truck That He’s Always Going On About

Our mesh pool safety covers are engineered to be safe and durable. “Mesh” doesn’t mean material like that top that Right Said Fred wears in the “I’m Too Sexy” video - it’s precision-engineered heavy dense weave mesh that can support lots of weight, and is protected from fading from sunlight with a special coating. Stainless steel springs keep the safety cover taut, and brass pop-up anchors hold the cover down.

The brass pop-up anchors are installed flush with the concrete to keep them from becoming trip hazards. Small details like a raised rub strip to prevent chafing on your pool’s coping and super-strong stitching at all stress points ensure your pool safety cover will last, protect your pool, and look good while doing it.

Manufactured In Canada By People Who Deal With Real Canadian Winters

Your typical pool safety cover will typically cost $4,000 to $6,000 including installation and pool winterizing, depending on the size and shape of your pool. Each cover is manufactured custom to the measurements of your pool, so make sure you are ordering your cover early enough to have it installed before it snows. Generally, if you order when it’s time to close down the pool, it will be installed in time for winter.

What Kind Of Maintenance Do I Have To Do On These Things?

A mesh pool safety cover actually reduces pool maintenance rather than adding to it. Water from snow and ice melts through the porous mesh, and leaves (for the most part) blow off the top. In fact, we recommend not shovelling snow off the cover as shovels may scrape and damage the hardware and straps. This is one thing in your house that is truly maintenance and worry-free. You’ll want to sweep off any debris and away from your pool before removing the cover, but that’s pretty much it.

    How Long Do They Last?

Under Winnipeg conditions, mesh pool safety covers last about 10-15 years. The warranty covers you for 15 years against any faulty workmanship or materials.

To get the process started, contact us and Dale will come out and take your pool’s measurements so he can put together an estimate. Once you approve the estimate, we order the cover and install it for you when it comes in.
